Hail, Norrathians! Since the April Producer’s Letter, Wuoshi was launched. This new Time-Locked Expansion Server started in Echoes of Faydwer expansion, is free trade, and has double loot weekends. There have been yearly server events and bonuses, Marketplace refreshes, and Subscription Bundles with a status bonus and great free items that will end on July 6th, so be quick if you want to get bonus status until November.
Game updates spanning April to June introduce massive progression milestones alongside crucial gameplay balancing, highlighted by the launch of the Kunark Ascending expansion on Varsoon. Origins Servers, Anashti Sul and Dozekar, unlocked the Rise of Kunark expansion. On Live servers, a significant development focus centered on tuning the challenging Untold Heroic dungeons, where we implemented progressive reductions to boss health, resolve requirements, auto-attack damage, and spawn rates for adds, while simultaneously guaranteeing better item drops at higher stages. Combat mechanics saw crucial updates, including a damage redistribution for the Necromancer's Boil Blood IV, fixes to ensure boss debuffs no longer bypass player wards, and a massive reduction to a power-draining effect from Do'Guen. Finally, the updates delivered extensive quality-of-life adjustments, resolving an issue where UI elements randomly turned yellow, restoring original Avatar mechanics on Origins servers, fixing various recipe and quest journal typos, and expanding the scaling limits or storage capabilities for dozens of player housing plushies and items.

Coming up, we will be having a beta test for our new upcoming expansion feature: Personas! The beta test for Personas for Origins style servers will start on July 28th at 12:00 p.m. PT and for Live style servers on August 4th at 12:00 p.m. PT.
Introducing Personas a bit, this new feature will allow you to level and play alternate class 'personas' on the same character. This enables leveling from level 1 to max on each class while still playing the same character, having access to the same equipment, and credit for completing the same quests and achievements.
After all those beta tests, do you think you'll be ready for the beta for Game Update 132? The upcoming Game Update is titled Revelations of Malice! The beta test for this starts on August 11th at 12:00 p.m. PT. All of these beta tests will be performed on the Beta server.
Do you play in 4K? We have some experimental UI scaling coming up for testing. We've been trying out the ability to scale up the UI so that it's more legible and easier to interact with when you're playing in higher resolutions. Soon we'll release this in experimental mode for all of you to check it out and hopefully help us find any issues or provide feedback.
We will also be adding upgrades to the number of mount slots and max house items caps, adding the ability to train a mount that is not the currently equipped or appearance mount, and the Norrathian Fables NPC will get freshened up a bit. More details about all the above will be provided in the articles as the betas and changes get closer.
And finally, a bit more about our approaching expansion. Cthurath, reeling from his recent defeat within Gerion, has been suppressed back into the Void. While the majority of Norrath remain unaware of the cataclysmic threat posed by the Consumer, the Overlord’s absence in Freeport has not escaped the notice of the power hungry. Encrypted messages continue flowing, and the feeling of dread seems to suffocate you as you think too hard not only on what you’ve deciphered, but other clues and gut feelings. Something big is about to happen, and you have thus far been unable to home in on what that could be. Words are power, mysticism and darkness go hand in hand, a found missive and a very vague map of islands... what could it all mean? A fair warning Adventurer: pursuing this course can only serve to open a yawning gulf of madness and machinations which will not easily be traversed. Heed the warnings, Norrathians.
