Let’s start off with a short synopsis of what this system is all about.
Joining a coalition guild is just like joining any other guild. A guild coalition is a personal choice which you decide per character.
Your character will remain in your current guild, and you will also be able to join another guild with that same character. You would be able to set one of the guilds the character is in as the active guild, which would then display that guild tag. That actively set guild is the one that gains status, achievement progress, and such, until the character changes their active guild again.
What you get with Guild Coalitions:
- Normal guild command structure with access rights and permissions.
- You can toggle the Coalitions UI window with /togglecoalition
- You can change your active guild or coalition with /set_active_guild "Guild or Coalition Name"
- Progress for Guild achievements and similar systems is only applied to your active guild or coalition.
- Most /guild <command> actions are available for coalitions with /coalition <command>
- Access to a guild coalition hall which contains all the same possible amenities as a guild hall.
- Chat channels and who commands recognizing coalitions like current guild chat.
- Mail allowing you to send messages to coalition/coalition officers, like current guild mail.
- Guild coalition banks, like current guild banks, with access rights defined by the same means.
- Limited to 1 coalition per character.
This guide is by no means all-inclusive at this time and will be updated with new information as it becomes available. Please feel free to post any questions you may have in the forums, and we will do our best to provide answers as time permits.
