Gerion’s Reckoning picks up right after the events of Rage of Cthurath and takes place in the Xebrith Tendril region of the Void and in Gerion, the Plane of Avarice. We had exorcized Cthurath's manifestation from Gerion, Hold of D'Lere, but we learned that this was only a temporary setback for the God of Oblivion. The Consumer would inevitably reemerge due to the stolen Vrakorr rune claw and one of their own acolytes on Norrath. 

Now, we have gained access to the land where the Vrakorr rune claw was likely taken, and Lady Najena has learned the identity of Cthurath’s acolyte on Norrath. We are determined to destroy them both and save our reality from such an unthinkable end, even if it means pitting ourselves against the maligned denizens and unnatural threats of the Unknown, Zon Zobboz, Oogothl Sprawl and Gerion, even further.

 

GENERAL

  • A one time purchase of a Heritage Treasure Cache Bundle (10) can be purchased from Jivvet <Status Merchant> in Yon Gorroth. This purchase is a once per account FREE purchase! Be warned before purchasing it to be sure you are on the player character you wish to use it with. These caches will ONLY be able to trigger on any content released prior to Gerion's Reckoning content.
  • Treasure Cache rewards will not function on Gerion's Reckoning content or any content released thereafter, nor any Untold Dungeon above stage 40.
  • To address an issue that can occasionally pop up with animations getting stuck on characters a new command has been added: /reset_loop_states. This command will reset the animation states on the character to their default state.

  • Geomancer
    • One with Stone will now cap the amount of Critbonus Overcap it can grant based off of its tier.
    • Accretion is now a static buff and no longer increases by increment stack.

    • Increased the damage potential of the level 132 ability Dashing Swathe by 20%.
  • Ranger
    • Reduced the damage potential of the ability Shadebringer III and Shadebringer IV by 50%.

ITEMIZATION

  • Removed an unintended multiplier on the effect To See and Be Seen on the Ring of Cosmic Horrors. It has been corrected to give 2,500 Crit Bonus.
  • The effect Infernal Ascension, from the Affix of the Infernal Tyrant is now displayed in the targets effects window when applied.

  • Plasvoid Where Prohibited - Grusla is no longer present in Zon Zobboz after this quest is completed.
  • Gerion's Reckoning: Acolyte and Shade - Voidskrit Blade is now NO-ZONE.

TRADESKILLS

  • Rakira, located at the Isle of Mara docks, has a new Scars of Destruction amalgamation quest for those who have already completed "Amalgamations for All: Bountiful Ballads."
  • Flamebearer Taslana in The Unknown will now offer daily tradeskill missions to level 130+ tradeskillers on accounts who have earned the "Rage of Cthurath Account Flag: It's a Known Unknown."
  • Critter Collecting has been added for your harvesting adventures! In order for a critter to be collected, you must have the "Sweep for Critters" ability which can be found within the item "Critter Collecting Starter Kit" purchased from Assistant Flamebearer Silverpot in the Unknown for 50 Tokens of the Formless Crafter and is unlocked once you have obtained Tradeskill level 135+ and have completed the account flag "Rage of Cthurath: It's a Known Unknown."

TRAVEL

  • Raj'Dul Plateau on the fast travel map now indicates level 125 - 130.
  • Takish Badlands on the Druid Ring map now indicates level 125 - 130.
  • Sodden Archipelago is no longer listed as a travel option from the Ulteran Spires, since there aren't spires there. It remains a travel option via fast travel and world mariner's bells, as intended.

USER INTERFACE

  • There are new options to change spell effect icon size, found in the Advanced settings for Targeting Windows and Spell Icons. No more using a magnifying glass to tell which effects are active!

ZONES AND POPULATION

  • Timorous Deep
    • The anvil and coal sack at the Gorowyn Beach Outpost are on solid ground, once again.
  • Gerion: Captive Audience [Raid]
    • The lockout has been adjusted to a minimum of just under 3 days and the maximum of just over 1 week to match other raid zone lockouts.
  • Zon Zobboz: The Outer Swarmyard [Raid]
    • Adjusted the duration of "Illicus' Threat!" from 45sec to 25sec in the Illicus, Zon Zobboz Swarmer encounter.
  • Rage of Cthurath Raid effects Overbearing and Mindwracking Influence spells have been lowered in damage.
  • Combat mitigations for Rage of Cthurath Tier 2 Raid content have been slightly lowered.
  • Untold Heroics can now be advanced by 4 stages instead of 2.
  • Gerion: Realm of Conquest [Untold Heroic]
    • The minimum stage for this zone is 20, which is free. All other stages cost the normal amount of Untold Void Poppets.
  • Untold Heroic stages 61 to 70 are now available.
