Explore Norrath – Sanctum of the Scaleborn

Overview

The Sanctum of the Scaleborn is home and refuge to the droag of the fanatical Awakened. These dragonmen, have carved an elaborate underground palace on the jungle covered islands of the Tenebrous Tangle.

Adventurers who are especially daring can start exploring the Sanctum with a group of friends at level 58, but should expect it to be especially challenging.  Even seasoned adventurers up to level 80 can find things to explore in the very lowest levels.

Background

The passages of this massive stone building are grown over with plant life, making it steamy and jungle-like inside.  This suits the dragonmen who dwell here.  Within the halls of the Sanctum, the cultists plot with the Temple of Scale to return their master to power.

For brave adventurers seeking the Claymore, a good many of the quests you must complete can be done in the Sanctum.

Key Areas

Scaleborn Barracks – Where the droag warriors rest.

Chamber of Animation – The silent sentinels, the animated suits of armor that guard the Sanctum are constructed and animated here.

Banisher Prepatory – This is the room where priests who have been assigned the task of exterminating wraiths prepare for the task.
