How did you get started gaming?
BBS/MUDS.. played a few for a while, then launched my own MUD which was very successful. After that, I was hooked and just started with whatever was the most popular at the time. Crystal Caverns, the Ultima Series, Eye of the Beholder, and then I got my beta invite for Ultima Online in 1997.

What’s your favourite part of EQII, the thing that keeps you in game?
The crafting system and PvP are the two things that have held my interest in EQ2 for almost 4 years. Not to mention, the incredible graphics and the wonderful community.

What is your funniest EQII moment?
The funniest moment for me was trotting down the East Freeport Dock and seeing a duck waddle by with the red name "Kirstie" over its head. I couldn't tell if it was a joke or if it was actually her having some fun with us. But, it was hysterical either way.

Any words of wisdom for fellow gamers?
Don't be in such a hurry to level to "End Game". There is so much to learn and experience along the way. Also, don't worry about what class you choose to start out with. You have 7 character slots, play seven classes that interest YOU and through natural progression, you'll play the one you like the most more often.

Geek credentials?
Ex-Microsoft Employee. Don't think I need to say more.

Something about you that people wouldn’t usually guess?
I was .075 points away from qualifying as an alternate on US Olympic Gymnastic Team back in 1992.

If you could acquire one of your character's spells or abilities in real life, what would it be and why?
Stealth. Who doesn't want to be invisible in real life. I'll reserve my reasons in order to keep this PG. ^^

What's your favorite zone in the game and why?
Enchanted Lands. I know it like the back of my hand. As a harvester, I have covered every inch of that zone and yet I still manage to stumble across something new. It truly is "Enchanted."
