For many years Lady Najena has been residing within her Hollow Tower, an inverted citadel found deep beneath the Lavastorm Mountains. There she dwells, attending her research and becoming stronger in her command of the elements. She now boasts an impressive number of elemental minions that do her bidding with blind devotion, as well.

It must be noted, however, that years of research and lack of contact with the outside world have made Lady Najena a bit paranoid. To ensure that no one interrupted her research, the Mistress of the Elements placed an indomitable safeguard to protect her sanctuary. By harnessing geothermal energy through steam vents she found a way to flood the tower with molten lava at a moment’s notice. This brutally effective security device has kept both Najena and her research safe from outside influence... Until now.
Recently, an excavation effort in the Lavastorm Mountains uncovered an entrance into the Hollow Tower. The first explorers to make their way inside were met with a lava flooded hall...
The lava prevented further exploration of the tower, for only those especially invited by Najena as guests have ever been able to enter her domain. Further exploration will be necessary to find a way to drain the lava from the tower’s passages.
Adventurers attempting to enter her domain have caused Lady Najena to recruit help to keep her Tower free of meddlesome explorers who seek to purloin the precious items she has collected over the years. One of these mercenaries is an accomplished tinkerer by the name of Fitzfangle, who is known for his work on the steam vents which control the lava flow as well as his other more... explosive inventions.
With the aide of her new supporters and her summoned minions, the powerful conjuress has now regained her hold on the keep, allowing her to once again continue her research as she sees fit.
Those wishing to venture within the Hollow Tower should be warned: This is no place for unseasoned adventurers to be vacationing. The dangers of Najena's lair are found not only from the elemental beasts that lurk within its walls, but also the threat of lava which can be unleashed in a moment, should an intruder be discovered.
