In “Raising the Banner,” EverQuest® II celebrates the introduction of Guild Halls, and to add to this historic event, Sony Online Entertainment would like to extend players the opportunity to compete in a guild hall design contest for a chance to earn an in-game item, the Matrox® Triplehead2Go monitor module, and collectible pewter guild hall key. The contest will run until Oct. 31, 2008. To be an eligible contestant, current EQII subscribers in good standing are to capture “three in-game screen shots” of how they decorated their guild hall and submit the images accompanied with a two or three paragraph story of the history of their guild and why guild halls are so important to them to eq2contest@soe.sony.com. The player that displays the most impressive screens and shares the most interesting story will win a bundle of goods from Matrox and SOE.
