Guild halls have been a long coveted feature in EQII and now they're finally here!
Well, almost.

It seems the builders in Qeynos and Freeport have been given a rather interesting directive...

Edicts have been issued from both the Throne of Lucan and the counsels of Antonia! In these times of uncertainty both leaders realize they need to garner the support of the powerful guilds in their cities as well as create a barrier of protection for the coastlines. The call has gone out that the previously uninhabited islands that lay just a few hundred yards out to the west of Antonica and east of the Commonlands can now be purchased by qualified guilds and built up into guild hall territories. These new halls will serve the dual purpose as headquarters of the powerful city guilds as well as a line of defense from coastal invasion.

How can you help these poor overworked gnomes (who let gnomes work on giant buildings, anyway?) and their building teams?

Simply report to Director Jasmine at the Antonica docks or Director Hezreal at the Commonlands docks! It seems that everyone needs supplies. In fact, they are so eager for your help that they're offering rewards.

You can receive a certificate for your home, a statue for your home, and if you bring in enough supplies you can even receive the title: The Guild Hall Constructor!

There are three tiers of guild halls that a guild may purchase depending on their level. The tier one guild halls will be located in all starting cities of Norrath and will be available at guild level 30.

The tier two guild halls will be located inside Qeynos and Freeport and will be available at guild level 50. Tier three guild halls will have their very own islands off the coast of Antonica or Commonlands and will be available at guild level 70.

Make sure you head on down to the docks to lend a hand to our poor frazzled builders when Breaking Ground, GU #48, goes live!
