What do you do at SOE?
I mostly model the outdoor regions for EverQuest2 along with buildings and props. I work together with designers, concept and texture artists. In our latest expansion RoK, I made the Fens of Nathsar region and in the previous expansion of EoF, I made Greater Faydark, Lesser Faydark and the Emerald Halls.
How did you join EQ2?
I actually joined the EQ2 team from the start of the project. I am also an EQ1 team veteran since I was on the team when we were part of SCEA, back in the day. So joining the EQ2 team was a given for me since we could use more polygons and higher resolution textures.
What are you currently working on?
I am working on the planning of the next EQ2 expansion
What do you like most about your job?
I get to make a part of a fantasy world for so many people to enjoy. On launch days, I enjoy seeing players exploring the new zones I helped create. I also get to work with so many incredibly talented people here at SOE.
What do you like to do for fun?
I usually spend time with my family and play video games with my kids. I like to keep active so I go running, mountain biking, skateboarding, and snowboarding. I don't mountain bike as much since I get stung by bees so often. I had a bee fly in my mouth and sting my throat…Yeah I know, bees? I'm glad I'm not allergic. I once helped an injured biker that had to be flown out of the trails by helicopter.
If you have a month vacation, where do you want to go and what do you want to do?
I would vacation in Hawaii. I've been there once and I would like to explore the islands some more. The landscape is inspiring, to say the least.

Cheese bagel with cream cheese please.

Dragon.
Fantasy or Science Fiction?
Fantasy, Science Fiction is a close second.
Where did you get your executive chair?
I bought it from down the street from some fancy furniture store. The basic office chair does not cut it for me since I spend a lot of time at work. I was thinking about getting a recliner till I found this chair. Everyone teases me about it.
Ninja or Pirates?
Pirates since they came first, but Ninjas are cool too.
