  • Guild: Ancient Legacy

Where in the real life world do you live? Horn Lake, Mississippi (Just south of Memphis).

What type of work do you do? I am currently employed as a cashier for Schnucks Grocery.

What got you into gaming and what sort of games do you like the most? I would have to say my brother got me interested, my prefered game is either an RPG or an Action/Adventure style.

What other hobbies or activities do you take part in, other then playing EQII? I like to read if I can find the time and peace to, my current author is Piers Anthony.

What other MMOs have you played? I played EQ for the longest time from pre-Kunark to Gates of Discord. I have tried many of the others but none have had the appeal of EQII.

How long have you played EQII? About three years now.

How long is your typical gaming session when playing EQII? Depends on whether or not there are enough guildies on to form a group, if there are a few hours isn't uncommmon. If very few are on an hour or two at most.

What was the race and class of your very first character? Half Elf Troubadour, was a natural choice since I was a half elf bard in EQ.

What is your highest level in EQII? I recently made 70 Troubadour and 70 Armorer, all my other alts that survive are only 30 or so.

What race and class is your main character? My Half Elf Troubadour, I have tried other classes but none have the appeal that my bard does.

What do you like the most about the class you have chosen for your main character? I like the fact I have great utility for my groups, I may not be able to be the best at one particular ability but I can manage to fill nearly all holes in a group.

Does your main character worship a deity? Currently Draca worships Bristlebane but is waiting for the day that Veeshen shows up again.

How did you choose your main character's name? My EverQuest characters always had some kind of link to dragons, Wyrvenfire was the last name of my main in EQ as well.

Which classes in EQII have you NOT played? The idea of having to depend on a pet for survival never appealed to me, so I never bothered to roll a pet class like necromancer.

What is your favorite expansion? I would have to say Echoes of Fadwer is the great diversity of the zones, you never really have to leave the expansion to level up or get great gear.

What is your favorite zone? Thats a tough one but I would have to say its between Kelethin and Lesser Fay.

What is your favorite npc? I would have to say the quest gnome at the start of Wailing Caves he always makes me smile hearing him.

Which expansion do you like the least?I think Kingdom of the Sky for me, the whole island hopping thing as well as how none of the zones directly connected.

Which npc do you like the least? The mender, the greedy glutton won't share his money making secrets with the armorers.

What is the most platinum you have ever spent on purchasing a single item for one of your characters? I am typically very poor so the most I spend was 4 plat and that left me broke for a couple weeks.

Do you have an item you no longer use but keep around for nostalgic reasons? If so what is it and why do you keep it? Many of the heritage quest item I make sure to keep in my house for display, other then that no.

What do you like best about EQII? The more mature audience it seems to draw in, you play a game to escape real life for a few hours, having to deal with someone who acts childish in it can ruin the experience.

What do you get out of playing EQII? I generally just enjoy the experience of being able to go in and do as I please, whether its to work on tradeskills or go and work on a quest with some guildies.

Describe your best experience from playing EQII?During a guild group we managed to pull too many adds, I was the only mezzer so I was trying to maintain a lock down on four adds as well as keep the mobs we were working on debuffed. During the entire time was sure they were about to wipe, they were pleasently surprised on how well a Troubadour could benefit the group.

Do you run or work for an EQII Fan Site? No I'm afraid not, but I do use eq2Traders alot, Niami does a great job with her site.
