What have you been working on for EQII?
I've been working on the design and implementation for several of the raids in Kunark. I finished Veeshan's Peak a few weeks ago and since then I've been working on a Drolvarg boss and a giant tentacle-ed creature.

What do you do when you're not toiling away in development?
On my weekends I play D&D with a group of my friends and a CCG called A Game of Thrones. I've also been playing a lot of the Legends of Norrath card game. Although some weekends I do find myself lounging about thinking deep thoughts on life and stuff.

You've been with SOE for awhile now, what's it like to be part of the EQII development staff?
Our team is really great, like one big group of friends. We all hang out and compliment each other and say supportive stuff. I know if I ever need a shoulder to cry on my team is here is to be that great big shoulder. Scott and Akil are like our two dads... Man that was a great show, My Two Dads. Alf was also an awesome show, they should bring that back. Anyways, like I was saying being on this team is great.

What's your background in gaming?
I think like most of my generation I started off with a little Atari and then a whole lot of NES. I played a lot of King's Quest, although my Mom would always come over when I was playing and ruin puzzles for me by telling me the answers or kick me off the computer so she could play Duke Nukem.

I started playing Everquest in 2000 with a friend of mine, whom I promptly out leveled. My best EQ story is: Once upon time, I was doing a LDoN and we were almost out time and we were about to kill the final boss. I was eating a bean burrito freshly out of the microwave and I dropped it on my keyboard. But I knew we had to kill that boss, so I just kept playing through burning, searing agony of refried beans. That, my friends, is dedication.

I've always loved RPG's and after the release of games like KoTOR, Jade Empire and Fable I really like the direction some of these games are heading. There is nothing better than a deep immersive story that you get to be the hero of.

Pirates or Ninjas?
I kinda getting over pirates, I think it's because I saw the Wife Swap with the guy who created Talk Like a Pirate Day... So, I'll say ninjas.
