With so many posts happening in the EQII Official Forums at all times, it can be very hard to keep up with them all, and very easy to miss some real gems and opportunities to share. Have no fear though; the Treasure Chest is here to highlight interesting, unusual, and humorous posts, as well as opportunities to help your fellow player with a question or two.

The Developer's Corner

With the 'Dev Tracker' not being available for the short time, keeping track of what the devs have to say in the forum can be quite a task. With that in mind let's take a look at some of the more significant dev posts in the last week to be sure everyone has had a chance to see them.

The Game Update #36 Preview Feedback thread has been more than active, with a multitude of comments representing most every perspective on the new content. There is a bit of something for everyone in this update, and it has sparked an extensive conversation.

The KoS class tree review thread by Lockeye goes into detail on this specific element of GU36. Naturally, with something that touches on most every player in the game, there is a lot of questions and concerns about the changes.

The PvP changes have also opened up a large conversation. Aeralik goes into great detail on these changes, and if you are a PvP player you won't want to skip out on this thread.

Domino has just given an update about quality levels of crafting results. It's really worth a look for every tradeskiller out there.

Player Questions

When a fellow player has a question, it's a chance for someone to step up and help the community by sharing some of their own expertise. Sometimes the question is a look for advice, and other times it's just a fun question that reminds us that the game isn't all about mechanics and updates. It's also about fun with friends. With that in mind, let's take a look at a pair of player driven questions.

Denuve asks "Where is your bind point?" Where do you bind in the game? Why? Check out the thread to see what others have answered, and share your own bind point with the whole community!

Ataxiccat is looking for tanking advice for his Level 26 Paladin. If you are a tank, especially if you are a paladin, this is a great opportunity to step in and give a fellow a hand. Ideas on what a tank should be doing can vary from group to group, so a healthy range of answers can only help!

That's it for the Treasure Chest this week. Don't think that's the end of good posts in the forums to find though, there are always great topics to contribute to, and a few to start on your own! Perhaps you will be in the Treasure Chest next week?
