How did you get started in the gaming industry?
Luck! My wife was from San Diego and I moved here when I married to her. A friend from my EverQuest guild was a GM at SOE and helped me apply and get an interview. I really knew my lore when I interviewed, which helped a lot, and got in the door. I was a GM for about 14 months, mostly on Rallos Zek. After being a GM I got into the design team for EQ1 as an apprentice after Luclin and during the design for Planes of Power.

When did you join the EQII team?
I joined the EQII team in February of 2005. When I came over, I worked on a number of instances and raids for the Desert of Flames expansion. The one that most people can recognize fast is the Djinn Master's Prisim.

What do you like most about EQII?
I really like the content in EoF, but about the game itself I like that I can play by myself, or with a friend and get something done. Or I can join a group and accomplish something as well. It is very easy to play in short blocks, which is important, especially when you have young kids like I do.

What do you like to work on for EQII?
I like working on new content. Things like zone population and events. It's a good place to flex the creative muscles and try to break new ground. It's fun to give people something new to play with.
