This is definitely not the first accomplishment of significance that Pandemonium has achieved. They also defeated 'Wuoshi' in recent weeks (setting a server first for the French Community Server, sixth worldwide). Shortly thereafter Soffrina, our French Community Representative, held a brief interview with Takenoide, a leader of Pandemonium to celebrate that accomplishment. Here is the interview, translated to English:

What is exactly your role as a guild leader of Pandemonium?
Takenoide
I'm the raid leader, and I take care of all the raids, but do not handle managing the guild outside the raid.
Soffrina
How many members are in the guild?
Takenoide
There are about thirty of us, and many of us have two to three characters each.
Soffrina
Have you played since the release of EQ2?
Takenoide
I used to play EQ1 and then switched to EQ2.
Soffrina
What kind of difficulties did you encounter in defeating Wuoshi?
Takenoide
Wuoshi is in a big zone, and it was a difficult encounter.
Soffrina
Did all the members contributed in the victory over Wuoshi?
Takenoide
Yes, and they were armed with motivation to stay in the zone without thinking of leaving to do other quests. As for strategy, this was a collective effort from everybody.

You are the sixth guild to defeat Wuoshi. How do you feel about that?
Takenoide
We are happy and elated, especially about our world wide ranking and the effort that went in it. We all shouted and screamed at that 'magic moment' of defeating Wuoshi.

How many days and hours did it take you to defeat Wuoshi?
Takenoide
We had to camp for four days at the instance and then it took us one day to defeat Wuoshi.We did face an unpredictable mob on the second floor, which was rather difficult.

Is defeating Wuoshi worth the effort?
Takenoide
It was a relief to end all the boss instances and loots with all the beautiful items we got.

What are your future plans?
Takenoide
We have tried the Mayong contest in Mistmoore, but have problems with lag. We did kill two avatars, and on our way to kill a third. We have other plans to achieve before the release of the fourth expansion.

You have also just defeated 'the Pumpkin Headed Horseman'? Did you encounter similar difficulties as with Wuoshi?
Takenoide
This was even more difficult as we had to spend more time and effort on him.

Have the guild Pandemonium met IRL?
Takenoide
Yes, we have.

Update: 2/23/07 -- This news item has been updated to clarify that Pandemonium achieved a server first in killing the Avatar of Valor. The World Wide First was accomplished by Second Dawn of the NaNyssaha server on January 11th, 2007. In either event, both guilds have faced down a tough encounter and deserve congratulations! (as do the other guilds who have faced down the Avatar of Valor)
