Let's take a quick look at some of the incoming visuals to whet your appetite for all the fun that's on the way.

Erollisi Day Fun

This week we wanted to give you a closer look at some of the fun new things on the way for Erollisi Day! Players will have ample opportunity to celebrate their love and affections in game and share gifts with each other. Everything from flowers, chocolates, and even love themed pillows will be made available in the game. Due to the resounding popularity of the fireplaces that came with Frostfell, we are happy to show off the new Erollisi Day flames effect.

Enemy Mastery

As noted last week, the Enemy Mastery system is being simplified and paired with the Legends & Lore quest lines to expand a players options, and eliminate some of the tedium in determining which 'Master Strike' ability to activate at any particular time. In the name of simplification, players will now have just one 'Master Strike' icon to manage on their hotbar, when the ability is active, the strikes will activate against any creature the character has mastery over. This makes it much easier to mange, and frees up some space on hotbars all across Norrath!

Necromancer

Pairing the Mastery system with the Legend & Lore quests expands on the number of Master Strikes a character has, and eliminates the tie in to character level as a controlling factor of when you get the strikes. Going forward, all you have to do to obtain a Master Strike for your character is complete the related Legend & Lore quest. The end result is a system that is easy to manage (just one button!), and greatly expanded in terms of the number of Master Strikes any one character has!

Looking Forward...

As you can see, the dev team has been hard at work working on all the new content for GU 31, and the polish and effort really shows. We hope you really get a kick out of the Erollisi Day events! Looking forward into the Spring, there is a lot of exciting and new content to watch for. Keep an eye on the EQII Players website, and the extended community fansites for more information about things like the Estate of Unrest!
