It is time once again to reflect on what has happened in the last few months as the final tendrils of summer give way to the cooler months of the year.
My first order of business is to remind everyone that fundraising is underway for Extra Life! We are already $51K towards our $115K goal this year, and I have no doubt we will surpass that goal with ease. We have some wonderful group, individual, and fundraiser incentives. Be sure to check out the Extra Life Guide on how to join Team Darkpaw if you have not done so yet. Thank you to those of you that have already donated or started fundraising, you should have received your keys if you met any of the incentive amounts by August 31. If you haven't seen your keys, please reach out to Extra Life Support.
Now, let’s look back on what's happened since my July Producer's Letter.
In July, we had a Krono Purchase Promotion where one could get a Fabled Mount named Zhufeng, Harbinger of Mirth with every Krono purchase. We also had all the familiar seasons brought back and at a discount and a huge housing sale with over a thousand housing items unvaulted. And, of course, Scorched Sky returned for its yearly run, rounding out July.
August was chock full of happenings too, such as Varsoon hearing good news about continuing their journey a while longer. Season 8 Mercenary Crates were unveiled, as well as some bags and strongboxes. Fear of Eternity, Game Update 129, went into Beta and was then launched in early August. The Milestone Celebration Crate was free for everyone who logged in from August 26th through September 22nd and has great gear, adornments and more to help catch you up for the expansion. The cloak and mount are amazing, and Nagafen’s Abode is absolutely enormous! There's still time to purchase the Subscriber Crate in the Marketplace if you're a member and missed out on claiming it or if you wanted to purchase more for your other characters. That crate will be removed from the Marketplace on November 11th. Oceansfull Festival finished off Summer Jubilee and we had our yearly Labor Day event and discounts on the Marketplace.
September rolled around with a new Marketplace overhaul for the Origins Servers, and the return of the Panda, Panda, Panda event! An abundance of bags and strongboxes made their way into the Marketplace and we even started up a Community Token system for the community team and guides to hand out Norrathian Fables for events! The prelude event called Heralds of Oblivion has started and finally, Anashti Sul is in Beta for Echoes of Faydwer and Fallen Dynasty.

Now for what you have all been waiting for, the expansion info! Allow me to tell you a story...
Our journey begins through entering a reality outside of our own, a boundless realm of entropy and madness, where mortal lives are often treated with excessive cruelty. This is the Void, an ineffable conglomeration of paradoxical existence eked out on the edge of nothingness. Explore the mysteries of Yon Gorroth, a grotesque mass of decaying and calcifying matter, riddled with gargantuan bones and slick pools of seeping fluids. Give aid to the Darou, an empathetic race hiding amongst the writhing parasites, flesh-eating beasts, and frenzied Skur'rax of the land from the threats of Oogothl oppression and slaughter in the name of the Consumer.
Dare to enter an immense island made of inconsonant soils, bound by tendrils of living muscle, where a group of exiled gazers have ruled with maniacal glee over subjugated masses for centuries. Discover the Unknown, the single largest piece of solid mass known to exist in the Void, covered with enough murky fluid to form an ocean.
Experience new challenging Untold Heroics. All new heroic boss encounters await the most determined groups of adventures. Unlock ever-increasing challenges for ever-increasing rewards, including raid quality gear, in these 5-boss dungeons. Risk it all for untold treasure!
Search out and stop the Void Incursions. Defend against the invading Void armies in all new Public Quests scattered throughout the mortal and planar realms! It may sound easy, but I recommend bringing along some friends.
Lastly, I’d like to mention the Adventure and Tradeskill level cap will be raised to 135. We're calling all tradeskill artisans and exceptional adventurers to level up, face the Void, and conquer the Rage of Cthurath, the Consumer, if you dare!
Beta and pre-order for Rage of Cthurath will begin at 10:00 A.M. PT on October 14, 2025.
Don’t fear The Unknown,
Jenn Chan
